Michael Dorsey is a temperamental actor who has burned one too many bridges, so the only way he can get a job is in disguise – as a woman, Dorothy Michaels. But when Dorothy’s career takes off, Michael’s personal life as a man collides with his professional life as a woman, with hilarious consequences. Caiola Productions is a co-producer of Tootsie, “Broadway’s funniest musical!” (New York Post), which opened in spring 2019 and has been nominated for 11 Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Leading Actor in a Musical (Santino Fontana).
